Travelling from the North or the South, leave the M6 on junction 40, and turn on to the A66 towards Keswick. Travel on the A66 until you reach Brathwaite village where you bear left off the A66 into the Village onto the B5292. Once on the B5292 follow signs for the Newlands Valley and Buttermere. This will take you on the road to Buttermere which has some fantastic views. Stay on this road until you reach Keskadale Farm.
